Easter Sunday fashion hunt – part two

Now, with 4 models and only an hour of daylight left, we moved on to shoot Macks & Sarah’s new Emoticon line – garments fashioned to look like emoticon faces.

The team was amazing, got the other 3 models’ hair and makeup finished in no time, dressed, and out the door in less than an hour.  The clouds that had been looming all day looked like they were about to break, so we pretty much ran to the closest location, picked a very cool building, doors, metal, and wall to shoot against and just made it happen.

Yes – lights, a better camera, a tri-pod and 10 other things would have made a HUGE difference and I could have bitched and moaned about not having them but it wouldn’t have helped. Instead I just shot quickly, took 2 frames for every one in case of shake (very slow shutter speeds because of the low light) and kept shooting until the light was gone and it was down-pouring. Literally, the sky started dumping just as we took the last shot.

Definitely a lot of fun, and luckily the rain let up enough after a couple of hours for me and Morg to take the bike home. God I love that thing.

Nice tit, Mackswell.

OH – almost totally forgot to mention: if you couldn’t already tell, the video here was from earlier in the day. Morg took the footage with my G-11 and our friend Michelle Bitner did the editing. I love it – so seventies :)
